In Spring ISD, we know that engagement with all of our stakeholders helps drive our success. And our success is defined by the evolving needs of all our students and facilitating successful outcomes for them. To do that, we need to keep the lines of communication open. We are asking for your feedback through our annual School Quality Survey.
The survey asks for your input on safety and behavior, student support, academic preparation, family involvement, and school leadership. The survey results will help us measure our progress in meeting the goals of our strategic plan. Administrators will also use your input to develop targeted, effective improvement plans for their schools.

While we celebrate Black HIstory Month we also want to take the time to honor some great educators via Honoredschools.org
Jan 15 through April 15 you can "honor" the teachers who do the most for your learners. Along with a nomination for cash awards your words about why they deserved to be honored will be featured on the Honor School website. https://honoredschools.org/.

Attention 5th and 8th grade students and families: Join us for the School of Choice Showcase on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6:00 p.m. at Dekaney High School! This event will share valuable information about our specialty programs, featuring live student performances and demonstrations. Applications open on Oct. 30: springisd.org/choice.
Students may start bringing in bags of candy to donate to the Trunk or Treat event. For each bag of candy donated, students will recieve a free day dress pass.
Reminder: Fall Break for students is October 14 - October 18. We hope you have a restful break and look forward to seeing students back on the 21st.
