Ms. Reyna has served the Spring ISD Community for 8 years. Ms. Reyna began her teaching career in Houston Independent School District and has been in education for more than 2 decades. 

Ms. Reyna has worked in various campus roles as a Teacher Assistant, Computer Teacher,  Bilingual Teacher, English Language Learner Coordinator, Instructional Specialist, Campus Academic Specialist and as an Assistant Principal. 

She is committed to creating positive learning experiences for all students at Ponderosa Elementary School. Ms. Reyna has been a resident of Spring ISD for more than 17 years.  

Ms. Reyna earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Education, and has a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

Welcome to our school!! I am thrilled to serve Ponderosa scholars and families this school year. As always, our faculty and staff are fully dedicated to the work of developing our scholars in a learning environment that prioritizes academic growth, achievement, and emotional well-being. As the Assistant Principal, I bring to Ponderosa 14 years of combined educational experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. I began my career in Aldine Independent School District and worked there for seven years before embarking on my journey as an administrator; joining Spring Independent School District in 2017 as the Assistant Principal at Hirsch Elementary.

I believe wholeheartedly that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, achieve, and explore their creativity in a safe and equitable learning environment. My primary focus as an administrator is to ensure Ponderosa Elementary provides the tools and educational experience that challenges our scholars to believe in themselves, work diligently to achieve their goals, and experience individual measures of academic success.
